Rapido, one of India’s fastest-growing bike-taxi app, unveiled the first-ever celebrity campaign, ‘Smart ho, toh Rapido’. The campaign features Ranveer Singh and Allu Arjun.
The campaign by Rapido aims to portray itself as a brand dedicated to its customers. It will make people aware of the brand’s core features and USPs. The vision of this campaign is to strengthen the brand’s market position and improve daily commutes.
OOH, Radio, TV, and Digital media are promoting the campaign across India, emphasising 14 cities.
The head of Marketing at Rapido, Amit Verma, is delighted to have Ranveer Singh and Allu Arjun in the campaign.
He added, “Both these brilliant actors will help us seed the idea of using Rapido as an alternative yet regular medium of travel among the masses, ushering in an era of affordable and convenient daily commute.”
Ranveer Singh and Allu Arjun will thrill their fans as Babban and Guru, two shrewd and cunning characters, respectively. Their distinct and engaging personalities can persuade regular travellers tired of public transport inconveniences. The campaign will help travellers to choose a smarter option like Rapido. Rapido’s bike cabs can quickly cut past congestion to provide rides on budget, comfort, and time rides.
Ranveer Singh said: “I enjoyed collaborating on our first campaign together. It was a delightful experience shooting for this ad film, playing a peculiar character (Babban) who has a unique and original style and persona.”
