Indian Olympians are bringing pride to India, and this is a heartfelt gesture by the fast-food giant to make Olympians happy. After India’s silver medallist Saikhom Mirabai Chanu stated her wish to eat up pizza after her achievement at the Tokyo Olympics, Domino’s Pizza has offered her free pizza for a lifetime.

On Saturday, the brand also delivered pizzas to Chanu’s family to congratulate her on winning the silver award for India.

In an interview with an Indian media after winning the medal on Saturday, Chanu said, “First of all, I will go and have a pizza. It has been a long time since I ate it. I will eat a lot today.â€
Pratik Potathe, CEO and Wholetime Director of Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd (JFL), which operates the Domino’s Pizza fast restaurant chain in India, was tagged in the interview footage.
While replying to it, Pota said: “Done! That’s the least we can do for someone who has brought so much honour to the country! #MirabaiChanu.†He tweeted, “Even as we prepare to give #MirabaiChanu a hero’s welcome and let her eat pizzas to her heart’s content, our Imphal team went to her house to congratulate her family with what else but Domino’s Pizza @dominos_india. Congratulations @mirabai_chanu you have done India proud!”
Potathe tweeted the photo of the Imphal’s Domino team giving in pizzas to her family members after three hours.
