Oreo and Pokémon team up on limited-edition “catch em’ all” cookie packs

Oreo, the world’s most famous cookie sandwich brand, has partnered with Pokémon to develop limited-edition biscuit packs containing 16 designs inspired by some of the franchise’s most recognizable characters, including Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur.

The fans will have to “catch ’em all” because one bundle does not ensure that all designs will be included.

Pokémon has collaborated before also with various players from the food industry. In honour of Krispy Kreme’s 25th anniversary, Pokémon also released limited-edition Krispy Kreme’s.

Both firms released a moment animation made completely out of Oreos to unveil the partnership.

In addition to the cookie collaboration, Oreo and Pokémon have announced that they will create an out-of-home art project on the Venice Beach Broadwalk in Los Angeles. The art displays a digitized Pikachu made up of 8,000 3D reproductions of the premium cookies rather than a traditional billboard.
